This high-end home theater system is located in Los Angeles and is yet another example of a state-of-the-art home cinema designed and installed by DSI Entertainment Systems. The video clip below will show how you can view up to four video images simultaneously using Crestron's DVPHD unique video processor.
Other notable features of this home cinema include a Stewart Filmscreen "Director's Choice 2.0" four-way motorized "masking" screen (see a video demonstration of this feature here > home theater video demonstrating multiple screen shapes) and Digital Projection Inc. Titan 1080p-500 DLP video projector. You are able to view one, two, three, or four video images at the same time and the projection screen will automatically resize to the correct aspect ratio...automatically! A JBL Synthesis THX-certified surround sound system provides earth-moving sound, and D-Box motion simulation mounted to custom Fortress theater seats let you literally feel the action. A Blu-ray Kaleidescape movie/music server, four HD DirecTV satellite DVR's, two Xbox 360's, a Playstation 3, and a Nintendo Wii round out the video sources and gaming fun.
This theater is controlled by two different Crestron touchpanels...a 15" diagonal touchpanel built into a motorized pop-out console between two of the custom Fortress theater seats, and a 6" wireless (TPS-6X) touchpanel is used when roaming throughout the room. You "tell" the surround sound system which audio feed you want to hear by selecting the corresponding video image on either of the two Crestron touchscreens. The larger 15" touchscreen even has video preview capability...you can cue up and see the video feeds before you see them on the screen!
