The video demonstration below shows an AMX home automation system controlling a beachfront home in Malibu, CA. The AMX Modero touch screen demonstrated can be used either in-wall (flush-mounted) or alternatively, as a handheld touch screen when taken out of its motorized in-wall dock. Also shown is a smaller handheld AMX Mio remote control which is mainly used in the Media Room, but also has full home automation capability.
The Master Bedroom in this home features a motorized TV lift that raises a 55" LCD TV out from under the bed! This room is also controlled from both an in-wall/motorized pop-out AMX Modero touchpanel and a Mio remote control. The Master Bedroom won the "Best Master Suite" award from Electronic House magazine for 2011.
