California Dreamin' - A beautiful Spanish revival home was featured in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara. This home has won DSI two awards, one for Best Integrated Home and another Innovative Design. A Crestron home automation control system runs all aspects of this period-correct home, yet all of the technology is hidden; wireless touchscreens hide in drawers when not in use. Oil-rubbed bronze Vantage lighting system keypads blend in with the decor. Architecture by Don Nulty, Interior Design by Sandra Canada, construction by RHC Builders.

"Entertaining the Environment" - A custom audio video installation by DSI Entertainment Systems in the Malibu Colony area of Southern California is featured. The outdoor audio video system included a weatherized flat panel TV, a 10 speaker sound system, and Crestron home automation controls on the patio of a beachfront home. Magazine issue - Vol. 12, issue 6.

"How Smart is Your Home?" - Feature article about how Home Theatre systems and Home Automation controls are becoming more common in luxury homes. The article explains that the latest home theater, "smarthome" control, and lighting control systems make a home easier to use and safer, too.

A beautiful Los Angeles Creston integrated home was featured in an article entitled "High Tech". The article notes that integrating the audio/video, lighting control, climate, and security though intuitive touchscreen remote controls is becoming an increasingly common feature of luxury homes due to added convenience and safety. 

Two homes, one in Malibu, and the other in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, won awards for creative custom audio video installation.  DSI wins for Home of the Year 2009, featuring a Home Theater, two hidden flat screen TV systems, Vantage lighting control, and Crestron home automation - integration.
