As an architect, your challenge to translate the desires of the client into a beautiful and functional space is a difficult task. Many diverse elements need to be considered in order for the end result to meet and exceed your client's wishes. Any oversight can tarnish the end result. - Ventilation requirements (projectors, enclosed electronics, equipment head end, fan noise considerations, air-handling noise for theater, etc.)
- Home Theater dimensions and design (shape and dimensions to accommodate desired seating, fenestration and light control, ingress/egress, projector and screen geometry, risers and seating placement, speaker placement, acoustical considerations, sound isolation, etc.)
- Space Allocation (hiding audio-video systems, equipment racks, structured wiring panels, lighting control panels, projector housing, etc.)
- Conduit requirements (in concrete slabs, between equipment locations, between buildings, outdoor speakers, cameras, and satellite dishes, future-proofing, etc.)
