Located nearly adjacent to the Pacific Design Center in the Design District of West Hollywood, DSI Entertainment Systems has designed a unique Experience Center showroom for you to experience the latest in custom home theater, media room design, hidden audio video systems, home automation, lighting control, and distributed audio / video.

Designed to resemble a small luxury residence, you will experience how careful design and clever installation of modern electronics can blend into or even disappear into a room's decor. Most of the furniture is provided by Phyllis Morris (the DSI showroom is located adjacent to the Phyllis Morris showroom).
The Kitchen, designed by Snaidero of Italy, features invisible loudspeakers by Amina that are adjacent to paintings from local artists represented by Culture Arts Showcase. Art takes center stage on this wall; the invisible speakers do not detract from enjoyment of the paintings. On the Kitchen counter resides a 15" Crestron home automation touchscreen that serves four functions: 1 - intuitive control screen for audio-video, climate, security, and lighting controls, 2 - a high-definition TV, 3 - a surveillance camera monitor, and 4 - a basic computer allowing quick, convenient access to the Internet and your email. A beautiful wood sculpture by Anne Shutan graces the Kitchen and adds warmth and sophisticated taste to the space.
The Home Theater features the latest video projection technology, utilizing a Digital Projection Titan 1080p-700 video projector and Stewart Filmscreen 2.35:1 electric auto-masking screen. The auto-masking screen converts from a 92” diagonal 16:9 aspect ratio format (for viewing high-defintion TV) to an 8’ wide 2.35:1 aspect ratio format (for watching widescreen movies). Engage another of your senses by experiencing motion simulation with a D-BOX Motion Code system attached to custom Fortress theater seating. Audio is delivered by a state-of-the-art Meridian digital theater system. Acoustic design by Anthony Grimani of PMI Ltd. further adds to the sensation of virtual reality. High-definition Blu-Ray movies and high-definition gaming delivered by an X-Box 360 complete an experience you will never forget. Both a Crestron TPMC-4XG and TPMC-8X wireless touchscreen control the home theater, demonstrating two different size of intuitive, simple to use remote controls. Which will you prefer?
The Den features two video displays, one of them hidden behind a VisionArt motorized art concealment system. When the TV is turned off, you will see it as a piece of art, not a TV. Sonance Architectural Series speakers fit flush in the wall and eliminate the unsightly perimeter flange common in every other brand of in-wall and in-ceiling speaker. A Kaleidescape movie and music server accesses several hundred movies and CD's with intuitive on screen menus. In-wall subwoofers by Velodyne deliver a solid foundation of bass frequencies without taking up any of the room's floor space. Custom interior design and furniture by Phyllis Morris adds to the elegance of this design space. A Crestron TPS-6L in-wall touchscreen gives “ATM-like” simple control of all of the room's features, including the Lutron Homeworks lighting control in this and every room throughout the showroom.
The Master Bedroom features a NuVision LCD television and in-ceiling Sonance Ellipse speakers, proving that you can achieve great sound from a specialized in-ceiling speaker solution.
The Master Bathroom features a mirror TV by SEURA that completely disappears from view when turned off. The music and Lutron motorized shades in the bathroom are controlled from an in-wall Crestron TPS-4L in-wall color touchscreen. Bathroom design and amenities by Snyder Diamond.
The Conference Room houses the equipment racks and all of the showroom electronics, freeing up the other rooms of unnecessary niches and furniture usually needed to hide the audio-video components in these local rooms.
The entry hallway features a Crestron TPS-6L touchscreen with TRUFIG flush-mount and also a Lutron seeTouch lighting keypad with a TRUFIG flush-mount kit.
Besides the Kaleidescape movie and music server, Sirius satellite radio is distributed throughout the entire showroom. A Crestron iPod dock extends the reach of your favorite portable music player throughout the showroom, and the iPod can be controlled from any of the Crestron screens.
