The winning project is located in the Malibu area of Los Angeles, and features Crestron home automation - systems integration, Lutron HomeWorks lighting control system, Crestron whole house music system, and high-performance Sonance Architectural Series speakers. The home won due to its intuitive, simple to use home controls and the hidden nature of all of the audio video systems.

Awarded by CEDIA (Custom Installation Design and Installation Association) in 2009. The winning Home Theater screening room is located in the Santa Monica area of Los Angeles. The Home Cinema features a 1080p Digital Projection front projector, Stewart Filmscreen, hidden speakers, Lutron lighting, and an intuitve touchscreen remote control. Interior design by Fran Kerzner of Design Synthesis.

The winning project is for a custom audio video and systems integration installation in Westlake Village for the amazing new Rusnak BMW dealership. This challenging project led to new "firsts", such as large custom rear projection screens "floating" above the showroom with BMW commercials being projected from cleverly hidden Digital Projection Titan projectors, and a clever use of Stewart Filmscreen's new "StarGlas" material in the in-house coffee shop, which serves as a huge digital billboard viewable from the 101 Ventura freeway at night. A Crestron control system integrates all of the dealerships subsystems. The waiting room even features a JBL Synthesis THX certified home theatre system!

The winning project is located in the Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles, and previously won for Best Home of the Year from Electronic House. The home features Crestron home automation - systems integration, Crestron distributed audio system, Vantage lighting controls, motorized televisions that hide out of the way, and a THX Home Theatre system featuring a JBL Synthesis surround sound audio system and Runco video projection. Design and construction by Xorin Balbes of TempleHome.

The winning project is located in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara and features Crestron home automation - systems integration, a Crestron whole house music system, Vantage lighting controls, four media room surround sound systems. All redudant home controls are hidden from view, and the Crestron touchscreens offer simple and intuitive home control. Architecture by Don Nulty, AIA.
