The Rusnak BMW dealership in located in the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall uses a Crestron control system to integrate and automate various features of the dealership. The receptionist is able to turn the dealership "on" by simply pressing an icon on her computer screen, as we are using Crestron's e-control to minimize the amount of standalone touchscreens needed. The automated "turn on" script turns on the lights and cues different video clips to play on different video displays throughout the dealership's various areas. Several handheld Crestron touchscreens located throughout the dealership provide local control of audio video sources when needed. DSI Entertainment Systems' unique remote control interface was used throughout, which won Crestron's "Most Creative User Interface" award in 2008.
Another showroom highlight are two large rear projection systems featuring Digital Projection Titan 1080p-700 projectors beaming onto Stewart Filmscreen StarGlas rear projection screens, located over the main showroom. Four more Digital Projection projectors display video in waiting rooms, conference rooms, and training rooms.
A cinema system resides in the main waiting room lobby, complete with a THX-certified JBL Synthesis surround sound system.
