A beautiful Los Angeles Creston integrated home was featured in an article entitled "High Tech". The article notes that integrating the audio/video, lighting control, climate, and security though intuitive touchscreen remote controls is becoming an increasingly common feature of luxury homes due to added convenience and safety. 


Best Electronic Homes - Summer 2009
Two homes, one in Malibu, and the other in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, won awards for creative custom audio video installation.  DSI wins for Home of the Year 2009, featuring a Home Theater, two hidden flat screen TV systems, Vantage lighting control, and Crestron home automation - integration.


Electronic House - June 2009
“Home of the Year" and “Best Outdoor Space” – DSI wins the prestigious ‘Home of the Year’ award for a fully integrated and Crestron automated Los Angeles home.  The home features a Runco and JBL Synthesis equipped screening room home theater, two motorized recessed TV displays, and a Vantage lighting system featuring the new Axolute lighting keypads.  Design, architecture, and construction of Home of the Year by Xorin Balbes and TempleHome.  The Best Outdoor Space home is located in Malibu with constuction by Scott Halley Associates.

“Country-Style Modernism” – A Ventura county home showcases two hidden media room surround sound systems with Runco video displays, a Crestron integrated control system, Lutron lighting control, Parasound Halo electronics, and James Loudspeakers.  Architecture by Zoltan Pali of SPF:architects.

DSI Entertainment Systems rated in the Top 20 in the prestigious CE Pro Top 100 system integration firms in the country (for year 2008, our 10th year listed for this award).  DSI is the largest electronic systems contractor / custom audio video installation firm in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties.  


¡Hola! - April 2009
DSI is now getting International coverage!  The Hollywood Hills Esquire Design House, located in Los Angeles, was featured with its high-design home theater screening room system and its fully automated Crestron integrated controls in this Spanish language magazine.  Other features include a Vantage lighting system with Axolute keypads.  Design/build by TempleHome.  This home also won the award for 2009 Best Home of the Year from Electronic House magazine.


ASID ICON – March/April 2009
DSI Entertainment System’s Marketing VP, Josh Christian, was interviewed in ASID’s national magazine about outreach education efforts between CEDIA-certified ASID Industry Partner Electronic Systems Contractors (such as DSI Entertainment Systems) and the Interior Design community.  The article highlighted that early and informed dialogue between the two trades results in the best aesthetics and usability.
