“Customer Service Award” – DSI wins the prestigious Customer Service Award due to glowing testimonials from clients and industry partners. A testimonial letter from Richard Landry of Landry Design Group was featured in the article as a model of a happy partnership.

“Best Integrated Home” - DSI Entertainment Systems wins the prestigious Best Integrated Home award at the 2008 Annual CEDIA Electronic Lifestyle’s Awards.  The winning home, located in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara, featured two media rooms and new ways to hide technology in an authentic Spanish architecture home. Wireless Crestron integration is hidden from view, while a new application of Vantage lighting keypads meets both homeowner’s differing technology needs.  Architecture by Don Nulty.  Construction by Rich Coffin of RHC Builders. Two different DSI Entertainment Systems custom installations that were part of the Pasadena Showcase house were featured as examples of creative design and implementation of a Media Room and hidden TV in a Master Bathroom.  Crestron integration was used throughout the residence to control audio-video and lighting, including a Kaleidescape movie & music server.  The home, located in San Marino, was designed by Wallace Neff.  Interior design by Roche Bobois.

“The Power of Education” – DSI’s Marketing VP featured for his contribution to educating architects, interior designers, and general contractors about the benefits of working with electronic systems contractors early in the design process.  He is a CEDIA ROI (Registered Outreach Instructor) and routinely gives free presentations to the design community.  The one hour presentations are registered for AIA HSW learning units (CEU).

“Billiards Traded for a Big Screen” – A Santa Monica screening room home theater was featured for its amazing transformation from an unused billiards room to a beautifully designed theater.  This project is another fine example of collaboration of DSI and an interior designer.  A Digital Projection projector was used along with James loudspeakers and Lutron lighting control.  Interior Design by Fran Kerzner of Design Synthesis.
