Awarded by the world’s premier manufacturer of automation and systems integration products, Crestron. DSI won an award for a $1.1M retrofit systems integration project in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles, featuring state-of-the-art home cinema, the world’s largest movie and music server system yet installed in a residence, and control of an extensive security system.

Awarded by Electronic House magazine in 2006 in their national “Best Of” contest. The winning entry included an extensive outdoor entertainment system consisting of five different TV entertainment areas and extensive music coverage throughout the home’s landscaping; including tennis court, golf putting green, golf cart path, gazebo, green house, bandstand area, pool, spa, and loggias.

Awarded by Electronic House magazine in 2006 in their national “Best Of” contest. The winning entry featured elegant lighting scenes for various kitchen tasks controlled either by custom lighting keypads or wired and wireless home automation touchscreens. The touchscreens also control the music, climate, security system, and allow quick access to the home’s surveillance camera video. A swiveling flat panel TV affords easy viewing from both the cooking and eating areas.

Awarded by Electronic House magazine in their national “Electronic House of the Year Awards” contest. The winning entry includes a dedicated screening room, four media rooms, and a housewide automation system including simple touchscreen control of lighting, music, climate, security, and pool/spa control for all 3.5 acres of the property.

Awarded by CEDIA (Custom Installation Design and Installation Association) at the international annual expo show attended by more than 23,000 industry professionals. The winning entry included Crestron touchscreen control of whole house music, lighting, climate, security, surveillance cameras, and pool/spa controls. These systems are tied together in various ways to enhance safety and usability of the home, with various lighting scenes automatically triggered by activities and sunrise/sunset times.
